Styling: DIY Lace Socks

We aim to put a lil pep in your step.

My college has a big, bi-annual celebration in which everyone wears funky, super artsy clothing (not really sure why, but I'm definitely into it). I decided this would be the perfect opportunity to break out the lace socks I made during the summer!

(Here's a group pic of my friends and I on this celebratory day to get a sense of the type of things people wear - I'm the one on the far left)

I got a lot of compliments, especially when telling people that I made them myself! Here's one of many ways to style these fun flouncy feet (f)accessories.

mwah,
Jacqueline

My Outfit:

- Cheetah and tribal print dress from MinkPink
- Denim vest from Urban Outfitters
- White high-top Converse (because they're always a good choice)

Accessories:

- Steve Madden aviator sunglasses (that I got for $7 at TJ Maxx shhhh)
- A variety of silver rings that I've collected over the years (I feel naked unless my fingers are drowning in metal)
- Two layered small necklaces
- Black studded bag from South Moon Under

We're a big fan of lace socks with short boots and high-top sneakers. Because you want them to be seen, they're perfect with flowy dresses, skirts, or even some fun shorts. Lace socks add a twist to even the most simple of outfits.
