The other day I was cleaning out my closet and I found an old shirt that I had not worn in a long time. Instead of giving it away, I decided to redesign it and add it to my wardrobe. It's pretty simple and really cute!

- An old black t-shirt
- Pair of scissors
- Fabric paint (White, Gold, Light Brown, Dark Brown, and any other color you might like!)
- A small tipped paint brush
- A piece of cardboard (to put inside the shirt while painting)
1) Cut sleeves off the original t-shirt
2) Cut cardboard small enough to fit into shirt. Slip it in between so the shirt doesn't stick together!
3) Divide shirt into 4 equal sections to paint the moons (Make sure you leave enough space by the edges near the arms!)
4) Begin painting the first moon opened to the left. First paint the outside curve in white and then slowly blend the white inward.
Tip: Search "phases on the moon" online for image help :)
Continue
painting
each
moon
in
the
row
Keep
going...
5) Start the next row of moons. The end of the second row should ALMOST be a full moon
Full moon should be the first phase of the third row!
Now you're done with the first round of painting! Next you're going to add color (because everything needs a pop of color!)
6) For each moon, take a tad bit of gold and brown. Lightly paint over the dried white paint. Follow the same painting pattern: paint a darker curve on the outside of the moon and blend inwards.
- you can add more white paint to blend all the colors together
AND YOU'RE DONE!
ENJOY :)
