Dry-Erase Photo Calendar

Pictures of you, pictures of me me me me.

It's never too late to remember your New Year's resolution and get organized! Instead of wasting money buying new calendars every year, I decided to make a calendar that I can use every month of every year.

Materials:

  • Pair or scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Photo frame (18" x 24")
  • 35 photos
  • Expo markers
  • Sharpie fine tip marker
  • Acrylic paint
  • Paint brush
  • Card stock
Time: 1.5 hours

1. Upload 35 photos onto photo editing software (I used Picasa). Either increase the brightness of the photos or make them more transparent. Print them out on photo paper and cut out. I printed the photos in different sizes to add variety.

2. Paint a piece of card stock with acrylic paint.

3. Glue the photos in a rectangle, leaving enough space to write the month at the top. Each row has 7 photos and each column has 5 photos.

4. Write the days of the week in Sharpie above each column. Cut a piece of card stock and glue it above the photos. If you'd like to, write "month" on the card stock.

5. Now's the fun part! Just put the craft into the photo frame, close it up, and write on the glass with expo markers. Write the month and the dates on top of the glass in dry-erase marker. You can wipe off the dry-erase marker with a tissue.

Now personalize your calendar with your activities!

Cheers,

~ Katherine
